# AI Quick Tips 101: Find Google Sheets functions to use when converting from Excel

Is it just me, or are there a lot more people using Google Workspace these days?  It’s not a bad thing.  I use Workspace daily.  I just think it is interesting how many more people seem to be using it.

One of the questions that we have been getting a lot recently is how to convert a spreadsheet from Excel to Sheets.  Specifically, how do you migrate the functions from one to the other? 

Of course, you can use AI chatbots for that (this is an AI blog post, what did you expect?)

Here is a sample prompt that you can use (replace VLOOKUP with whatever function you want) - 

*I am converting a spreadsheet from Microsoft Excel to Google Sheets.  What Google Sheets function can be used to replace the Excel function VLOOKUP?*
