Here are 5 more terms with the tech jargon removed, hopefully.

Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)

  • A computer that can do anything that a human can do (without any instructions)

Model

  • Rules and tools that can be used to create output
  • Usually combined with your prompt/input

ChatGPT

  • A chatbot that can make things
    • Chatbot is defined in part I
  • ChatGPT is made by a company named OpenAI
  • This is currently the most popular AI tool

Gemini

  • Google’s AI chatbot that is similar to ChatGPT
  • Unlike ChatGPT, Gemini is integrated into Google tools like Workspace, Android, etc.
  • It uses different models than ChatGPT (and other chatbots), so it can do different things

Claude

  • An AI chatbot from a company named Anthropic
  • It uses different models than ChatGPT (and other chatbots), so it can do different things
