It looks like Google is expanding on the popularity of podcast-style AI content. NotebookLM became popular pretty quickly from being able to produce what sounds like a podcast that summarizes the content that you provide.
Now, they have a new AI-tool called the Daily Listen.
This tool creates a personalized podcast based off of current news stories related to your recent search history. The podcasts are about five minutes long and give you a new and different way to consume content.
This can be a good fit if you want something to listen to while you sit in traffic or on public transportation on your way to work.
