You get a really good prompt for ChatGPT. You make sure that you tell it to make the output sound like a human wrote it. You read it over, and it sounds exactly like you.
You publish it. And it STILL gets flagged for being “generated by AI”.
WTF
Tools like Google’s SynthID make this kind of detection easy.
According to Google, SynthID “watermarks and identifies AI-generated content by embedding digital watermarks directly into AI-generated images, audio, text, or video.”
These digital watermarks cannot be seen or detected by humans but can easily be “seen” by other AI tools.
The bottom line is that it’s easy to tell when something is generated by AI. This isn’t the only tool that marks output.
I’m not going to get on my soapbox and tell you what you should and shouldn’t do (this time). Make your own choice. I just wanted to let you know that the deck is stacked against you in this case.
Here is the SynthID page in case you want to learn more about it.
