# AI Quick Tips 203: Don't like the infographic that you got from ChatGPT? Was your prompt detailed enough?

 July 31, 2025

![AI Quick Tips](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/hubfs/AI%20Quick%20Tips-1.jpg)

I’ve recently talked to some people who said that they didn’t like the infographics that they got out of ChatGPT.

We ended up talking about other things and never came back to the infographics and I wonder what their prompt(s) looked like.  I’ll use it as an opportunity to show how you could prompt for infographics (or any image really).

To start, I pulled a SWOT analysis infographic from the internet

![SWOT Analysis infographic](https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXfNVNz3kZJCign1UOWMENXXH5btFRuqs0RGpOG84Mri6V6fqsA3zmuZupDUq5gFT_Nk-eqBV4EofOP5ItkCaw75ZGny7aed6-b_erBciKWNx2NN2Xwmg9ycmtR0FL2MfuTseqtHXA?key=txiQ-lzp7ma_sh7338i28A)

Then I pasted this infographic into ChatGPT and asked it how I could prompt an LLM to reproduce this infographic for me.  Here’s what it said:

![](https://lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com/docsz/AD_4nXez6h9raxMh_IN6kvFiuFtMZhvJ4pUhp6tGljGeoi0NcDD5_t1-958BlTNjYpy_q-tQZPHGOXhmk0SpFYbvxgoqHEnV-5viWXfi7fCwdH4knan-W-h4xrNq9wFPkcqXwusOzFir?key=txiQ-lzp7ma_sh7338i28A)

If you’ve ever used an AI chatbot to create your infographic (or you want to), you can use this as a lesson in how to prompt to get the output that you want.

Compare the final infographic and the prompt that ChatGPT says that it would take to create it.  If your prompt isn’t at least this detailed, then you might not like the output.

Quick demonstration and I hope that it is helpful.

#### Bad infographic? Blame the prompt, not the pixels.

Fix your prompts.  We have a FREE course for that.
