AI Quick Tips 350: No more hiding in your car…

“Meeting starts in 10”

If that is usually your cue to go to your car (no, just me?) you might have to find a new exit strategy.

Google Meet now integrates with Android Auto. You will be able to view and access Google Meet from your car’s dashboard. It will show your scheduled meetings and meeting history. It will also allow you to join meetings.

One important thing to note is that this is audio only. You will not be able to see anyone’s video content and you will not be able to use your camera.

If you have the Google Meet app on your phone (Android) and you have Android Auto in your vehicle, all you have to do is connect your phone to Android Auto to use the new features. The integration is enabled by default.

This is also available to users with personal Google accounts and Google Workspace accounts.

As long as things stay on schedule, this will be available after Jun 26, 2026 so by the time you read this, you should be good to go.

(You’ll still have to find a new hiding spot…)
