If you’ve been tasked with creating a form for <enter thing> but you’ve never used Google Forms before, Gemini can help you.
It has been integrated in a way so it mostly stays out of the way unless you choose to use it.
First go to forms.google.com (you may have to log in)
Then on the Start a new form section at the top, click on Blank Form
This will bring up the Gemini window (this is the “mostly” that I mentioned before. If you don’t want to use Gemini, you’ll still have to see it this one time and close it)
You can choose one of their suggested form topics or describe whatever you had in mind (if you don’t know, start with whatever you were tasked with)
You’ll get a form that you can accept as-is or you can have it try again. Repeat this process until you have something that you are happy with. Know that you can change anything after it has been created so you can use this as a better starting point than a blank form.
If you are already in the form creation section and you want to bring up the Gemini window, there is a new “Help me create a form icon in the upper right”. It looks like this -
(hope you’re good at Where’s Waldo - that’s still a thing right…)
