- Create a notebook
- Add sources
- Either
- Create artifacts from your sources or
- Chat with your sources
If you haven’t used NotebookLM before (or you didn’t know the flow of things), now you know…
Recently, they’ve updated the chat section to offer click-ready questions after you ask something. It looks like they use AI to scan your sources and whatever you asked and then list the likely next things. Here is what it looks like -
These will also show up under the notebook summary at the top of the chat section.
You’ll have to play around with them so you can decide if you think that they are helpful or not. Honestly, for me they get in the way more than they help. If I am using chat, I know what I want to ask and the questions just take up extra space.
(Because the question has come up) I do not know how to disable the feature.
