# AI Quick Tips 364: Codex-maxxing is a thing

And, no, I did not make that up…

We have an inside joke (multiple actually) about how everything has a “maxxing” version these days. So we usually talk about coffee-maxxing, Netflix-maxxing, goat-maxxing, etc.

You can imagine my surprise and amusement when I saw that OpenAI actually has a whitepaper about Codex-maxxing.

They share *“practical strategies for using Codex as a persistent workspace that preserves context, manages complex workflows, and helps sustain progress across long-running projects”*

(there’s gotta be a shorter way to say that…)

If that sounds like something for you, I won’t keep it from you any longer - [https://cdn.openai.com/pdf/8a9f00cf-d379-4e20-b06f-dd7ba5196a11/OAI\_WhitePaper\_Codex-maxxing26.pdf](https://cdn.openai.com/pdf/8a9f00cf-d379-4e20-b06f-dd7ba5196a11/OAI_WhitePaper_Codex-maxxing26.pdf)
