![AI Quick Tips](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/hubfs/AI%20Quick%20Tips-1.jpg)

There are so many tools out there and it can be hard to invest time (or money) into something that might not be there in a week.

If you’ve gotten to the point with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc., where you don’t want to be locked down to a single model family, then you’ve likely come across OpenRouter. They let you choose from hundreds of models with a single API.

The details of how OpenRouter works is a different topic for a different day.

If you are on the fence about using OpenRouter, you may want to know that they recently raised a $113 million, Series B.

This included some big names -

- CapitalG (Alphabet)
- NVentures (NVidia)
- ServiceNow Ventures
- MongoDB Ventures
- Snowflake Ventures
- Databricks Ventures
- Etc.

OpenRouter will be expanding their infrastructure, capabilities, and offerings.

It looks like a lot of big names in the AI space want them around, so if you were hesitant, you might not need to be…
