Google has (finally) added the Gemini Notebook integration into Gemini app for Workspace accounts. There is a lot to follow there but if you use Gemini with your Workspace account then you’ve likely been waiting for this (no? Just us then…)
You can see the change when you expand the left sidebar in Gemini and see the Notebooks section now
I think that Gemini Notebooks linking to Gemini Notebook (separate product) is slightly confusing to people who are new to this space but I’m sure Google has their reasons. Either way, now you can connect to the same notebooks that you have in your Gemini Notebook account and -
Since the products are sync’ed, anything that you do in Gemini will be visible from Gemini Notebook. For example, if you delete a source then it will be gone from that notebook the next time you go into Gemini Notebook.
I feel like they will do more with this integration in the future but we’ll all have to wait and see.
(Maybe next we’ll get 3.8 Flash or Spark on our Workspace accounts…)
