# AI Quick Tips 391: OpenAI is releasing different models in different places

I feel like the writing is on the wall for ChatGPT’ chat (as opposed to work or codex).

OpenAI has released several models that are not available from the chat interface, including -

- GPT-6 Astra
- GPT-6 Sol
- GPT-6 Luna
- Probably more by the time you read this…

 

With how fast things are changing in the AI space, it’s hard to tell what the companies will do next. It’s possible that Anthropic collapsing Clade Cowork and Claude app into one tool will be the catalyst for OpenAI doing the same.

 

We’ll have to wait and see of course.

 

One thing to note is that if you can do whatever you need to do in the chat interface, it doesn’t count towards your usage (5-hour or weekly) so you might as well take advantage of it while it is still around.
