AI tools like ChatGPT are highly flexible (for certain tasks).  You can adjust the structure and type of answer you receive by slightly changing the prompt.

Let’s pick a topic that you want to learn about.  Acupuncture it is because it’s the first thing that I thought of.

I will ask ChatGPT to describe acupuncture but for different audiences.  Watch how much the answers change

First with no audience specified

*Describe acupuncture in detail*

Response (you don’t have to read this all) - 

Well I did ask for detail…

Now let’s change things up -

*Describe acupuncture for an audience of 5 year olds*

Response -

Interesting…

Let’s try again -

*Describe acupuncture for an audience with a short attention span*

Response -

My main takeaway from this is that if I don’t understand a response that I get back, I can change the audience in a follow-up prompt and may have more luck.
