# AI Quick Tips 91: Brainstorm customer pain points

If you’ve figured out who your potential customers are then one of the next steps is to figure out what challenges they have.

You can use an AI chatbot like ChatGPT, Gemini, or CoPilot to quickly give you a list of ideas.  It will probably come with at least a few that you didn’t consider.

Here is a prompt template -

*List* ***{number}*** *common pain points and challenges faced by* ***{customer avatar}***

*when it comes to* ***{area of focus}***

Here is an example - 

*List 10 common pain points and challenges faced by technology professionals*

*when it comes to starting their first business*

You can take this info and offer this group a product/service that addresses one of these areas.  Rinse and repeat until something works.
