Do you have a process for creating presentations?  If so, what would you gain from using AI tools?  (fine, that’s 2 questions) If you’re still here then I’ll continue.  I recommend separating the presentation piece and the branding piece.  It makes sense to do the branding first since that will be part of the presentation. #### **Branding** Do you have a style guide/brand guide/marketing guide or a design system?  If so, make sure you have access to it. If not, how would you like to represent your brand in your presentation?  Normal things include - Visual identity - - Fonts - Color Palettes - Logos - Icons and images - Card/slide designs Brand tone - - Tone of voice - Writing styles - Inclusive language standards Brand positioning - - Mission, vision, values - Brand story - Avatars, ICPs #### **Presentation** Use ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude to brainstorm a process to create presentations Sample prompt: > *You are an expert at creating and delivering presentations.  Your task is to work with me to strategize and create a repeatable process to create presentations that are branded to my company.  Ask me questions to gather the information that you need to get started.  Ask me one question at a time and wait for my response before moving on.  Here is some information about the presentation **\[context about presentation\]*** Once you are ready to design your slides, use a tool like Gamma (you could also use PowerPoint with Copilot or Slides with Gemini) You can reference your style guide with whatever tool you choose.  Either by attaching it to the prompt(s) or, if you’re using Gamma, creating a theme and using your brand’s style elements to build the theme. #### **Put it all together** Here’s a quick summary in case you skimmed to the end - - - Capture your brand in a style guide - Develop a system to create presentations, i.e. - Define your goal - Outline the presentation - Define slide rules - Design slides - Take your style guide and presentation system to an AI tool like Gamma - Combine them and make your presentation Hope that helps.   ~ Damien ![ An illustration of a friendly robot and a capybara collaborating on a design project.
