### Question

*Does Perplexity have any keyboard shortcuts?

~ Joe*

### Answer

Hi Joe,

It has a few (4 to be exact).

1. 1. New Thread - Ctrl + I
     2. Toggle Incognito - Ctrl + ;
     3. Show Shortcuts - Ctrl + /
     4. Focus Ask Input - Ctrl + J

In case that’s hard to read, here is a screenshot from Perplexity![ A screenshot of a dark-themed settings menu displaying Keyboard Shortcuts. The list includes: New Thread: Ctrl I Toggle Incognito: Ctrl ; Show Shortcuts: Ctrl / Focus Ask Input: Ctrl J](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Nov-26-2025-03-32-20-7854-PM.png?width=626&height=266&name=undefined-Nov-26-2025-03-32-20-7854-PM.png)

You can get to the keyboard shortcuts menu by clicking the question mark in the bottom right corner of the screen (on the computer, not sure about mobile).

Not the biggest keyboard shortcut list but it’s better than nothing, right?

Hope that helps

~ Damien
