Hi Sue,

Yes

If you don’t use any AI tools right now, [Perplexity](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/blog/tag/perplexity) is a good general-purpose tool to start with and learn the basics.

If you already use AI tools like [ChatGPT](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/blog/tag/chatgpt), [Gemini](https://thoughtsbrewing.com/blog/tag/gemini), etc. Perplexity could be more useful for you depending on how you use it. 

Since Perplexity is setup for web search, it can help with -

- - Fast fact checks
    - Market trend analyses
    - Personalized news
    - Answers with cited sources
    - Etc.

Also, Perplexity gives you an easy way to try out models from many other vendors (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.)

Try it out and see for yourself.  You can do a lot with the free version.
