Why can’t I do certain things in Perplexity anymore?  I used to be able to do everything.

Hi L. B.,

It depends on which things you used to be able to do.

More than likely it is one of two things -

1. 1. They got rid of the feature
      1. The tools are changing all the time
   2. (more likely) They added a new Max plan and put some popular features behind a new paywall

If it’s #2, we feel your pain. We’ve had Perplexity Pro for a while and one day we weren’t able to use certain models, and were locked out of new features.

You can tell with certain things because they will now have a little “Max” next to them (and a lock).

In case you just want the pricing, the Max plan is $200/month or $2000/year.
