Is Anthropic’s Mythos the only AI model that is focused on cybersecurity?

No, it’s not.
You could argue that Mythos isn’t even a cybersecurity-focused model. I think that it got a lot of attention around cybersecurity because it found so many things that other models couldn’t find. But it was developed as their most capable model in general, not just for cybersecurity.
I’m also guessing since I don’t have access to it yet…
Anyway, as impressive as they say that Mythos is, it isn’t the only cybersecurity model out there.
OpenAI has a Trusted Access for Cyber (TAC) program for GPT-5.5. They also have a separate model, GPT-5.5-Cyber, that is in “limited preview”. This is how they differentiate these models from regular GPT-5.5 -
There are other models out there but the challenge is that they are mostly being developed behind closed doors so there isn’t a lot of information about them. Since (Claude) Mythos is leaving the EU out of Project Glasswing and their testing, the EU is working with other AI companies like Mistral AI to create a Mythos-level cybersecurity model (or models)
I think that the AI cybersecurity space is going to get very interesting (and crowded) in the near future.
