- and the organizational clarity of the final scene of Clue.

By Thursday:

- Miss Scarlet thought Professor Plum owned the proposal.
- An anxious Mr. Green thought Colonel Mustard was going to “circle back.”
- Mrs. Peacock had six assignments despite being on vacation and was nowhere near the conservatory.

The action item was killed in the conference room, with vague language, by everyone.

Wadsworth could have reconstructed the meeting faster than the team.

## Gemini Is Now a Witness

Google’s new[in-person Take notes for me feature](https://workspaceupdates.googleblog.com/2026/08/take-notes-with-me-for-in-person-meetings-is-now-available.html) lets Gemini capture the room and create a Google Doc with the summary, action items, and transcript.

Excellent! The candlestick now has a timestamp.

A human must still hear the difference between:

- “I’ll finish it Friday.”
- “I should be able to finish it Friday.”
- “Friday sounds great,” followed by the facial expression of someone being handed a live grenade.

AI handles the typing. Humans watch the room and notice when Mrs. White resigns.

## Solve the Murder Before Everyone Leaves

Before everyone leaves, confirm:

- **The decision:** What did we actually agree to?
- **The owner**: Name one person. “The team” has never completed a task.
- **The deadline:** “Soon” is the Billiard Room where action items go to die.
- **The confirmation:** Ask the owner to accept, correct, or flag a problem.

Then file it before someone schedules a *Quick Sync* to investigate the first meeting.

## Let the Workflow Chase Colonel Mustard

A practical meeting flow could:

1. Watch for the finalized Gemini notes in Drive.
2. Pull the confirmed owner, task, and due date.
3. Send the owner a Google Chat message to accept or correct it.
4. Create the task after that human confirmation.
5. Send reminders before the deadline produces flames…flames on the side of Mrs. White’s face.
