Greg McKeown asked LinkedIn a dangerous question: *Who listens to you best? The options included a spouse, a friend, or AI.*

The results are a punch in the gut → 45% chose the robot. 🫨🤯

 

We have buried our noses so deep in our phones that an emotionless pile of metal feels more present than we do.

Michael P. Nichols defines the standard:

> *“Genuine listening means suspending memory, desire, and judgment—and, for a moment at least, existing for the other person.”*

 

AI does this by design. We have to do it by choice. Currently, we are failing.
