I don’t like goal-setting any more than you do, but it can be helpful, and it’s usually required.  Use this prompt to get started using an AI tool to help  -

Assist me in setting SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals for my upcoming project, including key milestones and deadlines

Ask me questions one at a time to gather the information that you need.  Wait for my response before asking the next question

Ask up to {NUMBER} questions

Replace

• {PROJECT SUMMARY} - with, well, a summary of your project
• {ROLE} - with how you will be contributing to the project (i.e., engineer, project manager, external consultant, etc.)
• {NUMBER} - with the maximum amount of questions you want to answer before seeing a response
  • This will become a balancing act because fewer questions will lead to lower-quality results, but more questions will take more time
