Using frameworks will help you quickly create efficient and effective prompts.

RACE is a simple, general-purpose framework.  It stands for Role, Action, Context, Expectation.

Here is the breakdown -

• Role - Who is the AI tool (i.e., ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) acting as?
• Action - What do you want it to do?  Give it a task or ask it a question.
• Context - What background do you need to provide for it to carry out the action(s)?
• Expectation - What outcome do you want?

Here is an example of RACE

You are a graphic designer that works with small businesses.

Create 3 images that will be presented as logo options for a new drink coaster company.

The business owner likes floral, Hawaiian-style designs and dislikes the color red.

He would like to see images that can be used on his coasters and also other merchandise like t-shirts and hats.
