There’s a lot to marketing and there’s a lot to social media.  Naturally, there is a lot to social media marketing. 

You quit your job.  You started the business.  You did the market research.  You identified your avatar.  You created your product.  Now, all you have to do is sit back and collect your millions.

If you have a basic understanding of what people want, you can craft your marketing messages to appeal to them.  

If you’ve gone through the last two posts about segmenting your market, the optional next step is to use the data to create a persona.  

Continuing the discussion from the last post, once you have your market’s demographic data, the next logical step is to gather psychographic data.

I define marketing as getting people to care about what you are doing.  This is intentionally broad and can include products, services, ideas, causes, etc.  Really anything that can be sold.
