BizTech Q&A 32: Nonprofits and AI

BizTech Q&A

Answering your questions about business and technology

Question

What are some ways that nonprofits you’ve worked with are using AI?

~ B.G.

Answer

Hi B.G.,

We’ve worked with quite a few nonprofits, so that is a long list.  Since there are nonprofits in so many sectors, it ends up being more about what the business does and less about them being a nonprofit.

I will give you a list of things that come up a lot with nonprofits to get you started -

    • Grant Writing
    • Fundraising
    • Volunteers (multiple things here)
      • Volunteer management
      • Creating applications
      • Brainstorming ways to work with volunteers
      • Creating volunteer feedback forms
      • Etc.
    • Language translation
    • Event planning
    • Creating marketing materials
    • Time management
    • Automation
    • Document creation
    • Program strategy creation and/or evaluation

Most of those have multiple sub-topics under them.

Hope that helps you get started.  Let us know how we can help you with the next steps.

~ Damien
