Google is helping organizations harness generative AI for positive social impact. They have launched their second Generative AI Accelerator cohort.
They are giving out a total of $30 million, 6 months of structured support from Google employees, technical training, and Google Cloud credits to the following groups
- Nonprofits
- Civic entities
- Academic institutions
- Social enterprises
The focus areas that they are looking for are
- Knowledge, skills, and learning
- Scientific Advancement
- Resilient Communities
The first time that they did this (last year), they helped 21 organizations and will reach about 30 million beneficiaries over the next 3 years. Not bad.
If you are interested and your organization qualifies, might as well go for it (application deadline 02/10/2025).
