Book Brew 40: Simplify and Succeed

Book Brew

If you have known me for a while, you probably know I am a no-nonsense, no-fluff kind of person. So, reading in Effortless about how McKeown talks about simplifying processes through the use of identifying the minimum steps required to completion, sang to my soul. No fluff is needed. No extra mile is needed. Just get the stuff done. Plain, simple, and to the point.

The Essence of Efficiency

“Being asked to do X is not a good enough reason to do Y.” This quote encapsulates the essence of efficiency—focusing only on what truly matters and eliminating unnecessary steps.

Ponder This

  1. What processes in your business could benefit from a no-nonsense, simplified approach?
  2. How can you identify and eliminate unnecessary steps in your daily tasks?
  3. What areas of your life or work could be streamlined for greater efficiency?
