AI Quick Tips 359: Perplexity adds GLM-5.2

One of the benefits of using Perplexity is that they have models from multiple companies (i.e., OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.)

They have expanded their model offerings with Z,ai’s GLM-5.2. This is an open-source model with impressive performance.

Here are some of it stats

• One million token context window
• Multiple thinking/reasoning levels
• Strong coding capabilities
• MIT license
• ~750B parameters

To access the model with Perplexity -

1. Go to www.perplexity.ai
2. Log in (or create an account)
3. Expand the model selector in the bottom right of the prompting area
4. Choose GLM 5.2
