How do I decide when to use regular Claude and when to use Claude Cowork?

Hi Darren,

You no longer have to. Anthropic has combined Claude chat (aka “regular Claude”) and Claude Cowork into one product. Claude figures things out behind the scenes for you.

I should note that it depends on which plan you have. They started rolling out this change to Max plans and Pro plans in late September. And they said “more plans to follow”. They didn’t provide a timeline (that I saw), so I am not sure how long it will be if you have a different plan.
