Google has (another) tool that they are publicly testing that lets you “explore career possibilities with AI”.  It’s called Career Dreamer and it’s in Google Labs.

I made a video if you'd like to watch a demo:

It starts with asking you questions about your work history so that it can create a Career Identity Statement for you.  It asks for past jobs that you’ve had, skills that you have, education, interests, etc.

Then it combines everything and shows you multiple career paths that fall in line with what you told it.

For the ones that sound interesting, you can immediately chat with Gemini and get more information about them.  You can also work with Gemini to create a resume, cover letter, etc. if you are ready to go towards that job/career immediately.

There are a lot of people still in school who don’t really know what skills and interests align.  There are also a lot of people who are looking to change careers (layoffs, boredom, etc.)

It’s also something for those that have retired, lost their purpose, and want to explore new things.
