Yes

If you don’t use any AI tools right now, Perplexity is a good general-purpose tool to start with and learn the basics.

If you already use AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, etc. Perplexity could be more useful for you depending on how you use it. 

Since Perplexity is setup for web search, it can help with -

• • Fast fact checks
  • Market trend analyses
  • Personalized news
  • Answers with cited sources
  • Etc.

Also, Perplexity gives you an easy way to try out models from many other vendors (OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, etc.)

Try it out and see for yourself.  You can do a lot with the free version.
