Ever spend three hours planning content and end up with one sad post about “National Respect Your Cat Day”? (True story: There really is National Respect Your Cat Day….it’s on March 28th. You’re welcome.)
Planning a week of content doesn’t have to feel like herding cats high on catnip (unless that is your jam, then by all means, chase those stoned cats).
Gemini and NotebookLM can help you crank out ideas faster than a raccoon can knock over your trash cans at 2am.
Here’s how:
- Start with NotebookLM.
- Upload your notes, style guide, recent analytics, old posts, or even random voice memos from that time you ranted about “why email marketing feels like taming ferrets.”
- Ask: “What 5 content themes keep popping up?” This gives your content thematic buckets and preps it for the next step.
- Then move to Gemini.
- Attach your Notebook as context (yes, it can do that now).
- Add your 5 content themes from the above step.
- Say: “Take these 5 themes and give me 10 post ideas for LinkedIn. Create a mix of helpful, funny, and mildly sarcastic.”
- No more starting from scratch because you are remixing what you already have.
- Ask for a Batch Draft.
- Ask Gemini for 2-3 rough drafts per idea.
- That’s 20+ posts in less time than it takes your dog to roll in something unmentionable at the park (Gizmo likes dead worms).
- Will you use all 20? Probably not, but at least you now have options and the dreaded blank-page syndrome is held at bay (for now…)
Pro tip: Ask Gemini, “What’s one unexpected animal metaphor I could use for [topic]?” You’ll get ideas like “Your marketing funnel is basically a confused penguin,” which, let’s face it, is gold.
Or just be boring…
Keep the squirrels. Lose the chaos.
