Every mistake is a plot twist in disguise.

Reframing doesn't have to require denying yourself of the pleasures in life like hugging donkeys. But it does require some creative editing.
The bad day becomes a setup.
The failure becomes a callback.
And here you are, the unreliable narrator with a redemption arc.
