Prompt frameworks offer a quick and low-effort way to feed the information that you care about to your AI tool of choice.

CARE is a short, general-purpose framework.  It stands for Context, Action, Result, Example.

People like free.  People (are starting to) like AI.  Why not combine the two?

Several of the most popular AI tools are available now for free.

Consider multi-step prompts if you have a series of questions, tasks that require the output of previous tasks, problems that cannot be solved with a single response, etc.

Sometimes, you aren’t using ChatGPT-type tools for creativity. Sometimes, you have a focused situation and want the “correct” answer.  

In these cases, a close-ended question is a better choice.

One of the more common and useful ways to use tools like ChatGPT is to brainstorm.  

If you don’t know where to start with something or if you want to see if there are ideas that you didn’t think of, this is a good way to stimulate creative thinking.

I know, I know, it seems backwards.  It doesn’t have to be though and it can help you get past writer’s block, idea block, or whatever block is holding up your progress.

The normal behavior of tools like ChatGPT is to give detailed responses.  Sometimes those responses are too long.
