Some people that I talk to tell me that I am supposed to talk to ChatGPT like it’s a human and other people tell me not to ever do that.  Who should I listen to?~ L.B.

You don’t always have to have AI tools do something for you.  You can also have them work with you on tasks.

When I ask GPT-5 to ask me clarifying questions, it doesn’t seem to ask as many as previous models did.  Am I doing something wrong?~ Anonymous

Yes, this is the classic framework for goal-setting but you can apply it to AI tool prompts as well.  

One of the challenges for ChatGPT has been that it gives you the answer if you ask it a question.  Usually this is what people want.  In some cases, though, they want to learn a topic and are looking more for guidance than just the answers.

There are differences between GPT-5 and the old models that I am used to using.  Do you have a framework that I can use with GPT-5 to help structure my prompts to get consistently better results?~ Joe
